What is Ricochet Croquet & How to Play it

What is it

Ricochet is a game invented by John Riches of South Australia, as a fast and fun way for beginners to be introduced to Association Croquet. It has evolved from a learning tool into a tournament and team game. There is also now a formal set of rules for competition use.

How to Play Ricochet Croquet

Ricochet is another variation of Association Croquet. It is becoming increasingly popular in Queensland, both with new players and with established Association Croquet players.

The game is played on a court set up as for Association Croquet, with four coloured clips used to indicate the next hoop in order for each ball.

Ricochet is played in a very similar manner to Association Croquet, but with one major exception - croquet strokes are not played.

The Ricochet Playing Field

This Ricochet Playing Field is the same as the Association Croquet playing field.
